Loving Works, LLC (hereinafter “Loving Works”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This document discloses our policy on how we use and secure information gathered from the www.mylovingworks.com website as well as from material you may fax to us or other systems used by Loving Works.
Personal Identifiable Information:
This refers to information that lets Loving Works know specifically who you are. In general you can visit our website without telling us who you are or revealing any Personally Identifiable Information. Any Personal Identifiable Information (PII) that we do collect will be stored in Loving Works’ secure databases in the United State.
When Registering as a Distributor or as a Customer:
When you register with us as a Distributor or a customer, you will be asked to provide such information as your name, address, and other personal information. You may also be asked for a credit card number and a social security number or Federal Tax ID, depending on your choice of status. This Personally Identifiable Information is securely stored in your Personal Profile.
When you register on our website, you will need to select a username and a password in order to access your Personal Profile. At registration, you must also provide credit card information, which is used only if you choose to purchase products. We keep this information for billing for the purchases that you make. We do this so you do not have to come back and enter it with each purchase. It is securely stored and encrypted on our computers or those of our trusted suppliers in the United States.
When you place an order for products, we collect Personally Identifiable Information, (such as name, contact and billing information, credit card, and other relevant transaction information). We use this information to deliver your order, process payment, and to communicate with you about the status of your order. Credit card information submitted with your order is used only for payment processing.
Sharing Your Personal Identifiable Information:
Except as disclosed in this Privacy Statement, we do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise retransmit any Personally Identifiable Information unless we have your permission or are directed by an authorized law enforcement agency.
Who We May Share Your Personal Identifiable Information With:
Our own and third party Supplier Fulfillment centers – We will disclose your Personally Identifiable Information to third parties, such as credit card processors (authorize.net) to charge your credit card and to our Supplier Warehouse and Fulfillment Centers to fill your order, deliver your order, provide customer service, and provide you with credit. For example, we must release your credit card information to the card-issuing bank to confirm payment; and release your address and telephone information to the companies or to the United States Post Office to deliver products that you ordered.
Legal Issues:
We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Loving Works Policies, or as otherwise required by law.
We will transfer information about you if Loving Works is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Loving Works will notify you within thirty days before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy. You will have the option of opting out and discontinuing your distributor agreement or deleting your Personal Profile in accordance with local and federal laws.
Securing Your Personal Identifiable Information:
We take reasonable measures to ensure that any Personally Identifiable Information we collect is accurate, current, complete, and reliable for its intended use. You may update or otherwise correct Personally Identifiable Information by logging in to your replicated webpage with your username and password, if you are a Distributor, or to your Personal Profile, if you are a customer. You may fax in changes as long as you include your signature or contact Customer Service by telephone and make changes via telephone once you have properly identified yourself. You may also send changes, such as change of address, via physical mail to Loving Works corporate offices.
User Name:
You will not be able to change your username once you have registered. You can contact Loving Works in the event you need your user name changed.
You are solely responsible to safeguard the password you use to access our website and to promptly advise Loving Works if you ever suspect that your password has been compromised. We strongly encourage you to change your password regularly to prevent unauthorized access. Because your identification number and password are specific to you, you acknowledge sole responsibility for any and all use of our website conducted with your login and password.
Account Deletion:
You can delete your Personal Profile with Loving Works at any time. However, once deleted, we are required to keep registered information for a given period of up to seven (7) years. For example, if you are a Distributor, we will be required to report your income to the government pursuant to IRS 1099 reporting regulations.
Confidentiality and Security:
We acknowledge your trust and are committed to take reasonable steps to protect Personally Identifiable Information you provide to us from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. We employ physical, electronic, and managerial security processes to safeguard and secure your information.
Secure Server:
When you access your account information, the information is kept on a secure server. All of the data we collect is protected against unauthorized access by physical security means.
Third Party:
In order to most efficiently serve you, credit card transactions are handled by established third party banking and processing agents. We have hired the very best ordering and fulfillment suppliers we know of who have extensive experience and an excellent track record at protecting private information. Third party financial institutions receive the information needed to verify and authorize your credit card or other payment information and to facilitate the processing and shipping of your orders.
Linking To Other Web Sites from Loving Works:
This Privacy Statement does not cover the information practices of third-part Web sites, nor do we control their content or privacy policies. We suggest that you carefully review the privacy policies of each site you visit.
Sending E-Mails and Other Communications:
As an active Distributor, you grant the right to Loving Works to provide you with communications via email, physical mail or other forms of communication. As a Customer, you have the right to opt out of any or all communications, as applicable by law.
Protecting Children:
Our Site does not target and is not intended for minors. We will not knowingly collect and will eliminate Personally Identifiable Information from anyone under the age of 18.
Loving Works’ Employees:
We limit access to personal information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs.
Updating Our Privacy Policy:
Loving Works may update this policy at any time. We will notify you about such changes by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your Loving Works account or by placing a notice on our site. We recommend that you check the policy when you visit our site to be sure you are aware of and understand our current policy.
